What's New in Summer 2021!
Making better use of our outdoor spaces! With 27 acres of fields and forests and the majority of our activities outdoors, we have adapted our programming for maximum time outside for our campers.
New cleaning methods: Over the last few months, we have learned a lot and will be implementing new methods and procedures of sanitation for our recreational equipment on site and formulating the best sanitation schedules for our cleaning staff.
Touch-less bathrooms: We will be revamping our washrooms to become fully contact-less. This will include touch-less toilets, touch-less faucets, as well as outdoor sinks and hand sanitizing stations.
New air ventilation systems are being added to all of our buildings to ensure a cleaner and safer indoor environment.
New heated outdoor showers have been added to our pool area so that campers can shower before and after the campers' time at the pool.
Limited availability! We will be accepting fewer children into our program in 2021 so that we can ensure smaller groups, and have more open spaces for our campers. The number of campers in groups will be reduced and we will continue to maintain our small camper to staff ratio to ensure that your children are safe, happy and well looked after!
Improved Transportation: We will be reducing the number of children on our busses in order to provide shorter rides to camp. This will also allow more space on the bus so that children can be physically distanced if necessary. We are also looking at point to point pick ups and will be in touch prior to camp to discuss what options will be available.
New staff training: We have developed a new staff manual focusing on health and safety for our campers. With this, there will be new and extensive staff training prior to camp, to learn how to carefully handle a variety of situations and also learn how to execute safety and sanitation protocols.
With all of our new health and safety protocols in place, we will be ready for Summer 2021. We are confident that we will be able to maintain a high standard of health and safety for our campers and staff. Can't wait to see all our campers back this summer!
